Pricing FAQ

What is MueFlow?
MueFlow is the subscription that powers MueSync. It includes MueCloud (storage + AI processing), social publishing, collaboration tools, and everything that keeps your creative workflow moving.
Is there a free plan?
MueSync is free to download with unlimited local AI on Mac. The free account has no cloud storage or cloud features. To access MueCloud, social publishing, and collaboration, upgrade to a paid MueFlow plan.
What happens to my music if I cancel?
You have a 30-day grace period to export your data or reactivate your account. After 30 days, we initiate data deletion — recovery is not possible after that. We send reminders throughout the grace period so nothing catches you off guard.
Can I change plans anytime?
Yes. Upgrades take effect immediately with prorated billing. Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing period — you'll need to reduce usage to fit within the lower tier's limits first.
How does annual billing work?
During our launch window, annual plans are billed as 6 months at launch price + 6 months at retail price in a single payment. After launch, annual plans are 12 months at retail with a 10% discount. All renewals use the 10% annual discount.
What are cloud stems vs local stems?
Local stems (Prism on Mac) are free and unlimited — processing happens on your machine. Cloud stems (Prism Lively / MueCloud) process on our servers, metered in minutes. Use local for unlimited processing, cloud for convenience or non-Mac devices.
What are AI credits?
AI credits power Omni — MueSync's cloud AI engine. Different actions cost different amounts: a quick text action like smart tagging or metadata suggestions costs 1 credit, generating lyrics or descriptions costs 3-5 credits, and heavier tasks like AI mastering or cover art generation cost 10-25 credits. The smarter the model used behind the scenes, the more credits it costs — but you just pick the action and we handle the rest. Credits reset monthly. Local AI on your Mac (stem separation, analysis) is always free and unlimited — credits are only for cloud AI.
Can I buy add-ons without a subscription?
Add-ons (extra storage, stems, AI credits, distribution) require at least a Spark plan ($9.99/mo). Free accounts cannot purchase add-ons.
What's included in the extra seat?
Every extra seat ($15/mo) adds a team member plus +50 GB storage, +50 min cloud stems, and +500 AI credits to your shared pool. Same bump on every plan.
Do you offer refunds?
Monthly plans: no refunds — cancel anytime and your plan runs until the end of the billing period. Annual plans: you can request a refund within 14 days of payment. Usage during that period (AI credits consumed, storage used, stems processed) will be prorated and deducted from the refund — the remaining balance is returned per your payment processor's policy and timeline. Refund requests are handled through in-app support (annual plans only). We reserve the right to deny refunds on a case-by-case basis if plan abuse is detected.
